Mission
The Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff is the principal military adviser to the President, the National Security Council, and the Secretary of Defense. The other members of the Joint Chiefs of Staff are military advisers to the President, the National Security Council, and the Secretary of Defense.
Role in Space-Based PNT
- Validates requirements for GPS modernization through the Joint Requirements Oversight Council (JROC).
- Applies space-based PNT to a broad variety of military operations.
